Summer is well and truly here and so is our Summer Herb Focaccia!
This focaccia is made with our sourdough starter for a light, fluffy, flavourful dough, but what makes this sourdough so special and a must-have this season are the fresh herbs that are organically grown in our gardens - rosemary, Greek oregano, Italian oregano, English thyme, lemon thyme, purple sage, Genovese basil, Italian parsley, and garlic chives.
The herbs are generously topped and included in the focaccia dough for maximum flavour.
This focaccia is so versatile. One of our favourite ways to enjoy it is with sliced heirloom tomatoes, a drizzle of good quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar, flaky sea salt, cracked black pepper and topped with ribbons of fresh basil. -
Organic hard red spring wheat flour, sourdough starter (organic hard red spring wheat flour, water [filtered]), fine sea salt, yeast, water (filtered), extra virgin olive oil, organic rosemary, organic Greek oregano, organic Italian oregano, organic English thyme, organic lemon thyme, organic purple sage, organic Genovese basil, organic Italian parsley, and organic garlic chives.
